The purpose of the trip was to gain an invaluable insight into the world of dance education, training and performance. Their brief (part of a year-wide theme of ‘Representation’) is for a Dance Centre to be located on a choice of sites near Kingsland Road in Dalston. The students will design spaces for practice and performance as well as fitness and recovery supporting accommodation. The year group is going to visit Lisbon at the end of the term.
Other studios visited Camden Arts Centre and St.James Theatre.
