Biography

Tim, as a former partner of Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, one of the UK’s foremost green practices, has expertise in the design and delivery of complex bespoke buildings and experience in the design of large urban residential regeneration projects, many of which have received national and international awards. During his 13 years in Africa, Tim headed the Kigali office of Light Earth Designs and spearheaded work into low carbon settlement and urban design, using sustainable design and applying system thinking. 

He has taught architectural design, has lectured extensively and has been a consultant for the Green Global Growth Institute and the Centre for International Training and Development. He recently gained a Masters in Urbanisation and Development at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Currently Tim is collaborating with Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios on the competition winning proposal for the Green City Kigali, Rwanda and consults on a conservation and land equity project in norther Kenya implementing low carbon labour intensive building techniques.
