Sir David was an external examiner for Part 2 of our Architecture Tripos between 2004 and 2007.
He was proposed by our Department and it is a great news for Architecture - in the past sixty years only three Honorary Degrees were awarded in the Department of Architecture: Sir Colin St John Wilson in 1999, Sir Leslie Martin in 1991 - both former Heads of Department - and Le Corbusier in 1959.
