Anyone who wishes to practise as an architect in the UK must be registered with the Architects Registration Board. Cambridge courses are accredited by the ARB, and anyone who successfully completes Part 3 (the Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Practice in Architecture (PCGPPA) or the PGCPPA (EPA) - End Point Assessment) is eligible for registration. Visit the ARB website for information and instructions on registering for the first time: https://arb.org.uk/architect-information/applying-for-registration-for-the-first-time/
Registration requires that a set of competencies is met: https://arb.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/ARB-Competency-outcomes.pdf These competencies are maintained by the monitoring of ongoing CPD (continuing professional development).
