Dr Ronita Bardhan, Dr Minna Sunikka-Blank and Professor Koen Steemers will each be giving a talk about how architecture can impact health from three different perspectives at the Cambridge Festival on Tuesday 30th March at 2pm

last modified Mar 01, 2021 04:22 PM

They will discuss architecture and public health form the perspectives of:

1) housing and wellbeing (in the context of everyday experiences in the developed world

2) urban development and slums (focusing on slum redevelopment programs and the effects of poorly considered building design in a developing context)

3) the problems and challenges of a largely indoor and sedentary life, and how building design can address this.

After the presentations, there will be a live Q&A with the audience.
