COVID-19 Face-to-face Teaching Plans for Next Year

last modified Jun 09, 2020 12:14 PM

The Department is busy planning for the gradual re-opening of University buildings in the coming months and the various scenarios for social distancing that might need to be in place in October. We are intending if possible to teach on site in October and like the rest of the University we are moving our lecture courses to be interactive and online to free up large rooms to maximise where possible small group face-to-face meetings that are the essence of Cambridge teaching. At the moment no one is sure what the situation will be like in October but it is our hope that we will have all our students on site and be running studios with whatever social distancing is necessary as soon as possible. We now have experience of teaching online and will do so if further lock-downs occur.
