The Department has spent the last few months planning for the gradual re-opening of University buildings and the various scenarios for social distancing that might need to be in place in October. The Faculty buildings have been adjusted to allow face-to-face teaching in small groups. The Library is open for click and collect and you should book online. The Studios are closed and lectures are online, but we will be having studio supervisions, face-to-face where possible, using all the larger rooms we have. We are hoping to do as much face-to-face teaching as possible but our firm rule is that no teacher or student should have to attend a face-to-face session if they are uncomfortable doing so or unable to do so because they are isolating and we will be making sure that online alternatives are always available. As soon as it is safe to re-open studios and other facilities we will do so. Our priority is to keep everyone safe.
