The Conflict in Cities 'Briefing Paper 11: Deconstruction and Reconstruction’ is now available! The paper was officially launched at an event at Arup London on 30th April. The launch was in parallel with a panel discussion with Dr Roxane Farmanfarmaian from the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Cambridge, Dr Ammar Azzouz of Arup and former visiting scholar at the Centre for Urban Conflicts Research, Donatella Rovera of Amnesty International, Markus Geisser from the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Director of the Centre for Urban Conflicts Research- Professor Wendy Pullan. The panel was chaired by Lyse Doucet, the BBC's chief international correspondent.
The event officially launched the 11th briefing paper, in both English and Arabic, and was accompanied by the translation of Conflict in Cities Briefing Papers 1-10 into Arabic. All eleven Briefing Papers, in both English and Arabic, are available electronically and free of charge on the website of the Centre for Urban Conflicts Research, listed beneath ‘Publications’.
