Biography

Sarah Hare has extensive knowledge of urban design ,housing and bespoke cultural buildings. Sarah was a founding partner of Hoeger Hare Architects in 1995, and completed the RIBA award-winning Catholic Academy,St Thomas Aquinas Church, and St Bonifatus Chapel, Berlin. In 2000 she set up Sarah Hare Architects in the UK, and completed the Hardwick Park Heritage Resource Centre, Sedgfield, for Durham County Council. In 2007, she was awarded a 3 year Isaac Newton Design Fellowship at the University of Cambridge. Sarah then joined Haworth Tompkins, in London, and as Design Director lead Housing and Master-planning projects. Completed projects include Chobham Manor, Olympic Park and Fish Island Village.

Sarah has just started a Design Fellowship at the University of Cambridge; she is a member of the Greater Cambridge Design Review Panel and has a part time Assistant Professorship at the University of Nottingham.
