Department of Architecture
Robin Spence is a structural engineer. His research is currently focused on disaster risk assessment and mitigation and he has been responsible for numerous projects in this field at the Centre since 1980. He is the Director of CURBE (the Cambridge University Centre for Risk in the Built Environment). He is also Academic Advisor to the IDBE Course, a Fellow of Magdalene College, and a Director of Cambridge Architectural Research Ltd.
