Hannah Arendt and Common Worldbuilding in a New Age of Extremes
Consortium Launch Event
Keynote by Bonnie Honig
26-27 September 2024 at the University of Cambridge
Join us for a two-day event for the launch of the Hannah Arendt Consortium on Crises and Political Transformation. The consortium is dedicated to confronting the global challenges associated with political ‘crises' and the political action that might lead for change by exploring Arendt’s work through three themes: common worldbuilding; exile and statelessness; and freedom, plurality and the promise of politics.
Our two-day launch event will include established and early career scholars and students in the fields of philosophy, political theory, intellectual history, architecture, memory studies, classics, sociology, gender studies, postcolonial and cultural studies, and politics and education. It will also feature two keynote events with Professor Bonnie Honig and Professor Michalinos Zembylas.
The full launch program is available here.
