Kuba Snopek (Researcher, Curator and Pedagogue of architecture, Kharkiv School of Architecture)
Can collective design make architecture better? While societies become more horizontal, architecture remains a surprisingly hierarchical profession; in spite of this architects lose more control over the built environment every day. In our era of networked struggles for democracy, can we imagine tools for a more collaborative and effective architectural practice.
Kuba Snopek is a researcher, producer, and pedagogue of architecture. He is the author of 'Belyayevo Forever', a book on preservation of intangible heritage. He initiated and co-authored 'Architecture of the VII Day', a complete research of polish post-conciliar Catholic Churches and 'Stage', a crowdsourced cultural pavilion in Dnipro, Ukraine.
