The Sixth Annual Conference of the Construction History Society will be held in Queens’ College, Cambridge on 5, 6  and 7 April 2019 with the AGM on Saturday 6 April and tours of buildings on Sunday 7 April and an annual lecture and dinner on the Saturday night.

The conference is organised by the Construction History Society and the MSt in Building History and held in collaboration the Department of Architecture in Cambridge.

This year the First Day (Friday 5 April)  will include sessions on Water in Architecture and Engineering and as well as general papers on Construction History

The Second Day (Saturday 6 April) will include special sessions on Doors and general papers on the Construction History

There will be a Gala Dinner in the evening of 6 April after the Building History Annual Lecture and a visit is being organised for those interested on Sunday (details to be announced).

Abstracts were submitted in October. Those accepted must submit their final papers by 14 January 2019 (guidance for authors and example paper).

Registration will open in December 2018. The price includes a printed copy of the proceedings which will be available at the conference.
