Ideas in Focus was a photography competition that asked students and researchers in the arts, humanities and social sciences for a photograph that illustrates their research. You can see these photographs displayed on bus shelter boards throughout Cambridge during October.
The selected students and researchers are:
- Thomas Aquilina (Postgraduate, Department of Architecture) with a picture called 'Curbside Economies', Lusaka, 2013. On display in Trumpington Rd, adjacent to Green Man Public House and Esso.
- Sasha Amaya (Postgraduate, Architecture and Urban Studies) with a picture called 'Iqaluit!' The capital city of Canada’s Inuit province, Nunavut. On display in Newmarket Rd, outside Tesco
- Elizabeth Wagemann and Ana Gatóo (Postgraduate and researcher, Department of Architecture) with a picture of the project 'Bahay Kawayan, A Transitional House for the Philippines'. On display in Mill Road, outside Nip In Express
