Tina Saaby is a distinguished architect and urban planner known for her leadership in shaping sustainable and healthy cities for people. A graduate of The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, she served as the City Architect of Copenhagen from 2010 to 2019 and as the City Architect of Gladsaxe since 2020 to 2023, and from 2023 CEO of the Danish Town Planning Institute.
Working closely with Greater Cambridge Shared Planning and the Cambridge Room, Tina will be championing the importance of design in making Cambridge a great city for people.
Professor Saaby will give the 2025 Marshall Professor Inaugural Lecture Experiencing cities and landscapes: what can we share between Copenhagen and Cambridge, between the UK and Denmark, between a changing world and our everyday practice on Wednesday October 15 from 5pm at Elena Hall, Jesus College.
