In 2015 we worked with the Cambridge Cyrenians on their allotment project which they run with homeless people.  First year architecture students from the University of Cambridge were asked to design and build 6 structures on the Cyrenians allotment site.  A tool shed, an orchard bothy, a bike store, a social area, a mobile market stall and a set of wildlife friendly compost bins.  The team designed, developed and delivered the buildings in two months as well as raising over one third of the budget themselves.

This project was sponsored by The Department of Architecture, Karakusevic Carson Architects, Mole Architects, Lindsay Stead, Tavis Perkins and Mackays of Cambridge.
