Biography

Julia Cabanas is an architectural assistant at Arup Architecture. She studied at the University of Cambridge, completing her BA in 2016, and then her MPhil in Architecture and Urban Design in 2020. Her MPhil research looked at urban segregation and American public schools. Since graduating she has been an invited lecturer and guest critic at the City College of New York, collaborating with a postgraduate studio that specialises in architecture for education. Before Arup, Julia worked at Carmody Groarke, Serie Architects and DSDHA.
