Department of Architecture
Alex Butterworth recently founded the architecture practice Studio KA with Katherine Nolan. She is a practicing architect and tutor, and runs Second Year Studio 2 at the University of Cambridge.
Alex worked at Herzog & de Meuron in Basel and then joined 6a architects in 2013, where she has undertaken a range of projects addressing re-use and landscape. She has previously been a unit master of an undergraduate and a diploma unit at the AA School of Architecture and leads Studio 04 at London Metropolitan University with Katherine Nolan.
