The first publication of UNFOLD - Discussing Decolonisation in Architecture Education in the UK was launched at the ARCSOC Exhibition which ran from 4-7 July.
The booklet is the outcome of an UNFOLD workshop held in Spring 2023 with architectural education institutions from across the UK to discuss what decolonisation means within the context of architectural education. What resulted from the daylong event was a powerful and dynamic conversation ranging from the personal to the institutional and beyond, and includes students, tutors and academics from the Department and beyond. UNFOLD has assembled that conversation into this booklet, which we hope you will all enjoy and inspired by to rethink how we teach and study architecture.
