The Department would like to congratulate Professor Yasmeen Lari, our 2022-23 Sir Arthur Marshall Professor of Sustainable Urban Design, on receiving the RIBA Royal Gold Medal for architecture 2023

This high honour is given in recognition of Yasmeen Lari's long and productive career championing zero-carbon solutions for housing displaced populations and has been approved by King Charles III personally.
