Chris Dercon – Director of the Tate Modern

chris Dercon

Dercon has directed art institutions since the 1980s, working world-wide. Amongst other positions, Dercon directed the Rotterdam Centre for Contemporary Art and the Munich Haus der Kunst. He has also cureated exhibitions for the Venice Biennale and the Pompidou Centre. He is a documentary filmmaker and cultural producer, and has worked with several artists and architects including Gerhard Richter, Anish Kapoor, Rem Koolhaas and Herzog and de Meuron.
