‘Geodesign’ describes a collaborative design activity by different people: scientists, architects, engineers, planners, and people of the place. Geodesignhub (www.geodesignhub.com) is a collaborate design platform
to solve the hard problems of planning, environmental and urban management. Geodesignhub enables flexible cooperation between large groups of people through structured negotiations. The goal of these negotiations is to build a consensus based design. In this talk, I plan to discuss Geodesignhub and share case studies and technical advances in collaborative design.

Dr. Hrishikesh Ballal is the Founder and Managing Director of Geodesign Hub Pvt. Ltd. He graduated with a PhD in geodesign from the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis at University College London. His interests are in applying advanced technology to the problem of collaboration in design. Dr. Ballal is a
Mechanical Engineer by training with degrees from The University of Michigan and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to Geodesignhub, he worked for a number of years in different leadership roles at Microsoft. More information: www.hrishikeshballal.net
