Professor Andrew Lawrence

Andrew is a structural expert in timber, existing buildings and building safety and is committed to improving the safety and sustainability of construction. He is an Arup Fellow, a member of the European Timber Design Code Committee and a member of the Building Advisory Committee advising the UK Government Health & Safety Executive on building safety. He is also a Conservation Accredited Engineer and lead author for the new edition of Appraisal & Repair of Timber Structures published by the ICE.
