Biography
Catija studied architecture at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen, graduating from the master’s programme Cultural Heritage, Transformation and Restoration. During her studies, she spent two years in professional practice in Switzerland and the UK, working with Miller & Maranta, Bakker & Blanc, and Sergison Bates Architects.
She previously worked at Caruso St John Architects as an Associate, contributing to major projects including the reorganisation of Tate Britain and the restoration and extension of Gunnar Asplund’s Stockholm City Library, and more recently leading projects for colleges at the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford.
Catija has lectured at Kingston University, Department of Architecture and Landscape. Her work is defined by a sharp eye for detail and a strong commitment to sustainability, cultural heritage, and enduring architecture.
