Dr Wan's research work has been focused on developing advanced urban land use and transport (LUTI) models, incorporating insights from both the spatial equilibrium modelling tradition and the non-equilibrium urban development processes. Dr Wan have worked on applying the new models in Cambridge and in Beijing, and in the process, collaborating closely with designers, planners, economists, real estate developers and policy makers.
