Department of Architecture



Costandis Kizis is the First Year Studio Master at the Department of Architecture at the University of Cambridge, where he also teaches History and Theory of Architecture as a Course Lecturer. He is also currently teaching at the Architectural Association and has taught as a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University and as a Visiting Lecturer at Central Saint Martins and at the University of Hertfordshire. Costandis holds a PhD (Architectural Association), a MSc in Advanced Architectural Design (Columbia University) and a Diploma in Architecture (NTUAthens, with honours). His research focuses on issues of national identity and modern architecture. He is principal at Kizi Studio, an architectural practice in Athens, focusing mainly on cultural buildings, public space and adaptive reuse projects.
