We are pleased to announce the publication of Hans Döllgast: Reconstruction and Modernity, a new book by Professor Maximilian Sternberg.
The book examines the work of the German architect Hans Döllgast (1891–1974), whose distinctive approach to reconstruction offers important perspectives on architecture, modernity and the relationship between old and new. Through his buildings and interventions, Döllgast developed a thoughtful approach to reconstruction that continues to raise important questions about architectural practice and the treatment of historic fabric.
