Our faculty members help local council address social vulnerabilities by building new HAI tools

The department congratulates Professor Ronita Bardhan, Gates Scholar Adhib Hussain Syed and Associate Professor Ramit Debnath on securing a grant from ai@cam and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to build human-inspired AI tools (PRISM: PRISM: Predictive Risk Intelligence for Social housing Maintenance) to help Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council identify which social housing tenants are most at risk before a potential crisis hits.
