The 2026 Marshall Professor Inaugural Lecture by Pooja Agrawal

The incoming 2026 Sir Arthur Marshall Visiting Professor of Sustainable Urban Design, Pooja Agrawal, will give her inaugural lecture, making a case for 'A New Municipalism'. Drawing on the history of the state and radical practices, the impact of policy on housing and planning, and current examples from local government, Pooja will explore how we rebuild public sector capability and ask what people, policy and practice need to look like if we demand better everyday places.
