The research presented in the article relating to cities and wellbeing is the result of a collaboration between Professor Koen Steemers and Dr Jamie Anderson (Department of Architecture) with Dr David Ogilvie (UKCRC Centre for Diet and Activity Research) and Dr Manjinder Sandhu (Department of Medecine).
The article focuses on the effect of increasingly populated and polluted cities on our health and wellbeing and how urban planners should design spaces with physical activity, health and wellbeing in mind to create "a place where people want to live".
