Beke is a Harding Distinguished Scholar in the first year of her PhD in the Department, and is supervised by Dr Fiona Smyth. The highly prestigious Harding Distinguished Postgraduate Scholars Programmeare given to the most talented students in any discipline, from the UK and beyond.
As well as her publication,Beke will also be co-chairing a panel at the SAH Conference in Mexico in April 2026, which is a phenomenal achievement for someone in the firstyear of their PhD.
