Preparation of Conservation Plans and Statutory Reports

The growing requirement for the production of Conservation Plans before the commencement of design work for projects affecting historic buildings and conservation areas provides an increased pressure on architects and planners.

Cambridge Historic Buildings Group can help practitioners either by compiling complete Conservation Plans or by providing expert advice and guidance, in dating buildings, and carrying out documentary research.

Cambridge Historic Buildings Group can also compile Environmental Appraisals and Environmental Impact Assessments to EC directives and provide expert advice on historical issues and witnesses for the determination of planning enquiries and appeals.

Cambridge Historic Buildings Group cannot, however, offer legal advice or guidance on planning law.
