Second International Congress on Construction History (2006)

Queens' College, 29 March - 2nd April 2006
The first International Congress in Construction History was held in Madrid in 2003. In 2006 the Construction History Society organised the Second International Congress held in Queens' College, Cambridge .

The scientific committee was chaired by Professor Jacques Heyman (University of Cambridge) and the conference organising committee was chaired by Malcolm Dunkeld, (South Bank University).

The Congress drew together over 300 delegates from all over the world, working on all aspects of the history of construction.

The Congress Proceedings were published at the Conference and are now out of print. They were in three volumes and amounted to over 3400 pages of text. All the papers are now available to download in electronic format as PDFs as listed below.
The Second International Congress on Construction History was only possible through the generous sponsorship of a range of organisations and we would like to thank them all for their generous support.
