The Cambridge Historic Buildings Group was founded in 1992 to provide owners and conservators of historic buildings with specialist information and advice based on structural and historical analysis of the fabric, and on documentary research.
As a company the Group is wholly owned by the University and its profits are covenanted directly to support University educational and scholarly activities.
Please note that the CHBG does not offer courses or training.
At present the Cambridge Historic Buildings Group is undergoing reorganisation and we are currently unable to undertake recording work. In the past The Cambridge Historic Buildings Group has been able to offer a wide range of services which have fallen within the field of its expertise, each project team having been individually selected to suit the project.
