Dr Michael Ramage and Dr Irit Katz have been shortlisted for the RIBA President’s award for research

The annual awards celebrate the best research in the fields of architecture and the built environment. This year, a record-breaking 75 submissions were received from 14 countries with a significant number of practice-based entries.

Michael Ramage has been nominated for the Design and Technical category for 'Supertall Timber: Design Research for the Next Generation of Natural Structure' in collaboration with Dr Rob Foster (University of Cambridge),
Simon Smith (Smith and Wallwork),Kevin Flanagan & Ron Bakker (PLP / Architecture). Read more about Dr Ramage's research here.

Irit Katz has been nominated in the Cities and Community category for her research entitled 'The Common Camp: Temporary Settlements as a Spatio-political Instrument in Israel-Palestine'. Read more about Dr Katz's research here.
